Career Options in Technip Qatar and UAE for New Graduate-Engineers

Technip Middle East (TPME ) - Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) providing career options to new graduates of Engineering degrees or diplomas of any Nationality provided they meet the minimum qualifications required by its various Engineering departments and provided they are acceptable to Technip's standard package after passing credentials review and technical phone interview.

Preferences are given to young engineering graduates from the Philippines, India, and Pakistan because most of these graduates will be provided with on the job trainings in TPME Oil and Gas site projects based in Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, UAE and their trainors are usually Technip project managers and senior engineers-employees who are also Filipino, Indian, and Pakistani Nationals.

There are two (2) groups of new engineering graduates being recruited by TPME every six (6) months in an annual calendar. They are all given monthly salary, living and transport allowances, and fully furnished housing facility. They are employed on probationary period of six (6) months to one (1) year depending on learning level and work performance, and those who passed the probationary period are eventually taken in as permanent employees.

The first group is called as Engineer Trainees. Applicants for Engineer Trainees are fresh graduates, males or females with engineering degree or diploma but have zero or no work experience yet. Preferences are given to graduates who are in the top twenty (2o) of graduating class in their respective university or college batch. Additional preference is given to graduates who already passed the engineer licensure examination or proficiency test in their respective country, garnering test score that belongs to the top twenty (20) examinees.

The second group is called as Junior Engineers. Applicants for Junior Engineers are young graduates, males or females with age of not more than twenty-eight (28) years old, with engineering degree or diploma and with not less than three (3) years work experience in any Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Engineering projects or companies in their respective country or abroad. Additional preference is given to graduates with above average passing grades in the engineer licensure examination or proficiency test in their respective country.

During their probationary training and work period, Engineer Trainees and Junior Engineers in TPME are both exposed to Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering Design Programs, Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), Operation, Project Supervision and Commissioning Works for Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas projects of Technip.

TPME groups in Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabim UAE which hire Engineer Trainees and Junior Engineers are the following Departments:
1. Mechanical Engineering - for Piping, Static/Rotating Equipment, HVAC and Building projects
2. Electrical Engineering - for Power System and Building projects
3. Structural-Civil Engineering - for Structural-Civil Works, Horizontal and Vertical projects
4. Process-Chemical and Safety Engineering - for Oil & Gas Production, Refinery, LNG and Petrochemical projects
5. Instrument and Telecom Engineering - for Instrumentation, Automation, Telecommunication and Industrial Projects
